accessibility · blind-first

accessibility isn't a checkbox we ticked. it's one of the major reasons we created pfft.

Accessibility is a design input here, not a checkbox. Wheelchair leads the activity list — it's first, not buried. Turn on a screen reader and PFFT switches to Blind-First Mode: a screen-reader-first interface with its own home, workout, history and stats screens. Contrast and touch-target floors are locked by tests. 12 languages.

what we target

we target WCAG 2.2 AA. we do not claim conformance — nobody has audited us, and we would rather say so.

the honest limits

12 languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Chinese. one accessibility defect is open and we are not hiding it: the lock screen still speaks English to screen-reader users in every other language (FIND-590). it is on the fix list before launch. (the voice-and-callouts room had the same defect, FIND-629; fixed in 6.31.168.)

how to reach us about access

found something we got wrong, or something a screen reader should say and doesn't? tell us: support@pfft.app. a real person reads it.
