TL;DR
Nothing has been donated, because nothing has been sold. PFFT is not on Google Play, there is no paid tier, and no money has changed hands in either direction. This page exists so that the claim on our home page has somewhere to be checked, and so that it keeps being checkable once there is a real number to put here.

What we intend
A percentage goes to charity. That is the intent, and it is the only part of this we are willing to state today.
What is not decided yet
Not set. We have not picked a number, so we are not printing one.
No organization has been named, and none will be named — or hinted at — until an agreement is actually signed. Naming a partner we do not have would be the exact thing this page is here to prevent.
Pricing is not set. The app ships today with no billing integration and no paid tier, so no payment data flows anywhere.
The format of the public accounting is not built. When money starts moving, the figure above stops being a placeholder and starts being a total, and how it is calculated will be written down right here.
Why this page is nearly empty
Because it is honest. A giving page with an invented number on it, or a charity logo we have no relationship with, would be worth less than an empty one — and we have been strict internally about the same rule inside the app: an honest empty state beats a fabricated figure, every time. This page is that rule applied to ourselves.
